Wintry Sunday mornings for sensible folk are all about warm duvets and cooked breakfasts, but not for Plain English Champion, Adam Addison of Swan Housing Association. Adam braved the sub-zero temperatures, with moral support from his wife Clair, to join Marie of Plain English Campaign at the Phoenix FM radio studios in Brentwood.

Ed Wellman, a radio presenter who supports plain English principles for clear communications, took us on an hour-long interview on the need for clarity, and the efforts being made by Swan Housing to make sure their tenants are kept properly informed.
